Dhaka, Bangladesh – The long wait for students who appeared in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations is finally over. The SSC Result 2025 will be published on Thursday, July 10, at 2:00 PM. Students across the country will be able to access their results simultaneously online and through their respective educational institutions.
Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haider, the Controller of Examinations for the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the date and procedures in a notice issued on Tuesday. The announcement brings an end to weeks of anticipation for the students and their families.
This year, a total of 1,490,142 students participated in the SSC examinations under the nine general education boards. This includes 701,538 male and 788,604 female students. The examinations were held across 2,291 centers in 18,084 institutions.
How to Check Your SSC Result 2025
To make the result-checking process smooth and accessible for everyone, the education boards have arranged for multiple methods.
Online Results:
Students can easily find their individual results online. The primary website for checking results is the official education board results portal: www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. To view their results, students will need to enter their examination roll number and registration number on the website.
Additionally, educational institutions can download the comprehensive results of all their students. Institution heads can visit the Dhaka Education Board’s website at www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd. By clicking on the ‘Result Corner’ and using their unique EIIN (Educational Institute Identification Number), they can download the full result sheet for their institution.
SMS Method:
For those who prefer to receive their results via mobile phone, the SMS service will be available. To get the result, a student needs to type a message in the following format:
SSC [First three letters of the board’s name] [Your Roll Number] [Year]
Then, send the message to 16222.
For example, a student from the Dhaka board with a roll number of 123456 would type: SSC Dha 123456 2025 and send it to 16222.
The results will be sent back to the user’s mobile phone shortly after the official publication time. Center secretaries and institution heads will also collect the results from the board’s website and inform the students at their respective schools.
