RU Admit Card 2025: ‘C’ Unit Download Begins Today

Rajshahi, Bangladesh – Rajshahi University (RU) has now commenced the RU Admit Card 2025 download process for the ‘C’ Unit (Science) first-year undergraduate admission test for the 2024-25 academic year, starting today, Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. This latest update was confirmed by Professor Md. Saiful Islam, Director of the university’s ICT Center, to The Daily Campus today.

Professor Islam stated, “The download for the ‘C’ Unit RU Admit Card 2025 began this afternoon (April 22nd) and will remain open until the moments just before the examination begins.” This follows the previously announced download window for the ‘B’ Unit (Commerce), which was reportedly open from April 8th to April 12th, 2025.

Eligible candidates for all units can download their respective RU Admit Card 2025 by logging into the official admission portal (admission.ru.ac.bd) using their SSC and HSC examination roll numbers, passing years, and board names.

Important Notes for All Candidates

1. New vs. Old Admit Cards & QR Codes: Professor Islam highlighted a key point regarding potentially outdated admit cards. Even if a candidate possesses an older or previously downloaded admit card, scanning its QR code will display the correct, updated roll number, examination building, and room information. However, all candidates are strictly required to download and print the latest version of their RU Admit Card 2025 to ensure the physical card reflects the correct, current roll number assigned to them.
2. Finding Exam Building: While the QR code provides real-time accuracy, the university’s ICT Center may also notify candidates of their specific exam center and building via SMS. Alternatively, candidates can find this information by logging into the admission website or by checking the notice boards at their assigned examination centers upon arrival. Re-downloading the admit card is also an option to get a version with the building name explicitly printed.
3. Multiple Copies Required: Candidates must download and print two copies of the RU Admit Card 2025 for each unit they are appearing for. One copy will be marked “University Copy” and the other “Candidate Copy.” (e.g., A candidate appearing for two units needs four printed admit cards).
4. Signature Requirement: The signature provided on the admit card must exactly match the signature present on the candidate’s HSC registration card.
5. Exam Day Procedure: Candidates must bring all printed admit card copies (both University and Candidate copies for the specific unit’s exam) to the examination hall. During the exam, the invigilator will sign both copies, retain the “University Copy,” and return the “Candidate Copy” to the student.
6. Retain Candidate Copy: The “Candidate Copy” returned by the invigilator is crucial. Candidates must preserve this copy safely. It will be required during the viva voce (interview) stage and for the final admission process if the candidate is selected for admission to RU.

Exam Schedule and Format

The admission test dates remain as previously scheduled:

• ‘C’ Unit (Science): April 26, 2025
• ‘B’ Unit (Commerce): April 12, 2025 (Completed)
• ‘A’ Unit (Humanities): April 19, 2025 (Completed)

The admission test is a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based examination. Key details include:

• Total Marks: 100
• Number of Questions: 80
• Duration: 1 hour
• Negative Marking: Yes (1 mark deducted for every 4 incorrect answers)
• GPA Score Weightage: None (No marks allocated based on SSC or HSC GPA)

All candidates appearing for the upcoming ‘C’ Unit test are reminded that downloading the RU Admit Card 2025 within the specified time (before the exam starts) is mandatory.
