Rajshahi, Bangladesh: The results for the ‘A’ unit admission test for the Rajshahi University (RU) Undergraduate (Honours) first year of the 2024-25 academic session were published today, Friday, April 25, 2025. Professor Md. Saiful Islam, Director of the university’s ICT Center, confirmed this information to The Daily Campus.
He stated, “The ‘A’ unit results were published around 6:10 PM this evening.” Students who appeared for the test can now check their results on the university’s official website. The publication of the RU A Unit Result 2025 ends the long wait for the aspirants.
The ‘A’ unit admission test was held earlier on April 19, 2025, in two shifts. The examination took place simultaneously at various centers, including Rajshahi University, Dhaka University, Begum Rokeya University, Khulna University, and Chattogram University. The attendance rate at the Rajshahi University center was notably high, recorded at 89.48% in the first shift and 89.82% in the second shift, indicating significant participation.
The ‘A’ unit, also known as the Humanities unit, is highly competitive. According to various sources, approximately 96,000 students applied for this unit, vying for over 1,800 available seats across different departments. The minimum pass mark required for the test is 40 percent.
