DHAKA, April 25: Jagannath University (JnU) is starting its final admission process. This is for the 2024-2025 academic year. It includes first-year undergraduate (Honours) and BBA programs.
Students who got subjects in the first phase can now complete their admission. This applies to Units A, B, C, D, and E.
The final admission process begins on Sunday, April 27, 2025. This information came from an official university notice today, Friday, April 25. Professor Gias Uddin, the Acting Registrar, signed the notice.
Paying Fees Online
Selected students must first pay their admission fees online. The online payment starts on Sunday, April 27, at 12:00 PM. The deadline to pay the fee is Monday, May 5, at 11:59 PM.
Students need to log into their personal panel on the university admission website: https://jnuadmission.com. They must pay the fee through this website.
Submitting Documents
After paying the fee, students must submit required documents. This needs to be done between April 27 and May 6, 2025. Students can submit documents from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on these days.
Documents must be submitted to the office of the respective Dean. After submitting documents, students will receive a Departmental Confirmation Slip.
Admission Fees
The admission fee amount is different for various faculties and departments:
- BDT 12,400: For Science Faculty and Life & Earth Science Faculty (includes practical classes).
- BDT 10,400: For Business Studies Faculty.
- BDT 10,400: For Arts Faculty, Social Science Faculty, Law Faculty, and Institutes.
- BDT 12,400: For Film & Television, Music, Drama departments, and Fine Arts Faculty (includes practical classes).
Required Documents for Admission
Students must bring the following documents for final admission:
- Original Mark Sheets for SSC and HSC exams.
- The Admission Test Admit Card (must be signed by the invigilator).
- The Admission Form printed from the online portal.
- Four copies of recent passport-sized color photographs.
Important Warning
University officials stated that students must pay the fee online within the given time. If a student fails to pay the fee by the deadline (May 5), their offered subject might be cancelled.
Jagannath University urges all selected students to complete the admission process on time. This ensures their place in the 2024-25 academic session.
