Dakhil Routine 2025 Revised: Exams to Begin on April 10

The Madrasah Education Board has released the revised schedule for the Dakhil Examination 2025. This announcement was made yesterday, Tuesday. According to the new routine, the Bangla First Paper exam will now be held on April 21. The practical examinations will be conducted from May 16 to May 20.

Previously, there was a controversy regarding the SSC Mathematics exam being scheduled on Easter Sunday, which led to its postponement and the release of a new routine. Following this, the Dakhil Bangla First Paper exam has also been rescheduled.

According to sources, 2,94,726 students will appear for the Dakhil Examination under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board this year. Among them, 1,50,893 are male and 1,43,833 are female. The number of examination centers is 725, and the number of institutions is 9,063.

The Ministry of Education has informed that 14,90,142 candidates from 18,084 educational institutions will participate in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under nine general education boards. This includes 7,01,538 male students and 7,88,604 female students. The number of examination centers for these exams is 2,291.

It was also informed in a meeting that the total number of candidates under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board is 1,43,313, out of which 1,08,385 are male and 34,928 are female.

Special Instructions for Students

  1. All students must be present in the examination hall 30 minutes before the exam starts.
  2. Students have to appear for the examinations according to the time mentioned in the question paper.
  3. First, the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) exam will be held. After that, the creative/essay-based (theoretical) exam will take place. There will be no break between these two exams.
  4. Students must collect their admit cards from their respective institution heads at least three days before the examinations begin.
  5. For Physical Education, Health Science and Sports (subject code 142), and Career Education (subject code 145), the marks obtained through continuous assessment as per NCTB guidelines will be provided by the educational institutions to the concerned center during the examinations. The center secretary will then send these marks online to the board’s website along with the practical exam marks.
  6. Students must correctly write their roll number, registration number, subject code, etc., and fill in the circles on the OMR form of their answer sheet. Under no circumstances should the answer sheet be folded.
  7. Candidates must pass separately in the creative/essay-based (theoretical), multiple-choice, and practical parts of the examination.
  8. Each student can only participate in the examination of the subject(s) mentioned in their registration card. Participation in examinations on different subjects is not allowed under any circumstances.
  9. Students will be allowed to use general scientific calculators in the examination.
  10. Except for the center secretary, no other person/examinee will be allowed to bring and use mobile phones in the examination center. The center secretary will use a সাধারণ (non-android) mobile phone for communication purposes.
  11. Candidates must use the same signature in the attendance sheet for the creative/essay-based (theoretical), multiple-choice, practical, and oral (where applicable) examinations.
  12. Practical and oral examinations will be held at the respective centers. However, if a madrasah at the center does not have a science department, the practical examination will be held at a madrasah with a science department under the center. The practical examination for Information and Communication Technology (subject code 140), with a value of 25 marks, will not be held at the practical examination center.
  13. For the Muzabbid department, the oral examination for Kirat e Tartil and Hadr (subject code 120), with a value of 100 marks, and for the Hefzul Quran department, the oral examination for Hefzul Quran Daur (subject code 122), with a value of 100 marks, and Tajweed (subject code 121), with a value of 25 marks, will be held.
  14. Applications for re-evaluation of answer scripts can be submitted online via SMS within 7 (seven) days of the result publication.
