45th BCS Viva Voce Schedule Published

Dhaka, Bangladesh – The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the schedule for the 45th BCS Viva Voce. The oral examinations for qualified candidates from the written test are set to begin. This is a crucial step for thousands of aspirants seeking to join the Bangladesh Civil Service.

The BPSC published the viva voce schedule for some of the candidates who passed the written examination for both general and technical/professional cadres. The detailed schedule was released on Thursday, July 3, 2025. This was confirmed in a notification signed by the BPSC’s Controller of Examinations, Masuma Arfeen.

According to the announcement, the viva voce for an initial group of 452 candidates has been scheduled. This group includes 206 candidates for the general cadre. It also includes 181 candidates for both general and technical/professional cadres. Additionally, 65 candidates from only the technical/professional cadres are on the list.

The viva voce is the final stage of the BCS examination. It tests a candidate’s personality, suitability, and knowledge for the civil service.

Earlier reports from various news outlets, based on BPSC announcements in late June, had stated that the oral tests would commence on July 8, 2025. Those initial reports mentioned that a total of 585 candidates were called for the first round of interviews. This included 481 from the general cadre and 104 from the technical and professional cadres. It is understood that the BPSC is publishing the schedule in phases.

Candidates can find the detailed viva voce schedule on the official website of the BPSC at www.bpsc.gov.bd. The schedule is also available on the Teletalk Bangladesh Limited website at http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd.

The BPSC has stated that it reserves the right to make any necessary corrections to the published schedule. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites for any updates.

The 45th BCS written examination results were published on June 18, 2025. A total of 6,558 candidates passed the written tests and became eligible for the viva voce. The entire process, from preliminary examination to the final result, is part of a roadmap by the BPSC to clear the backlog of BCS examinations.
