BPSC Publishes 44th BCS Viva Result 2025

Dhaka, Bangladesh – The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the final results of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination on Monday, June 30. The much-anticipated results were uploaded to the BPSC’s official website, bringing an end to the long journey for thousands of candidates. The publication of the final list concludes all stages of the examination, including the crucial 44th BCS Viva Result 2025.

Earlier, on April 8, BPSC Chairman Mobasser Monem had assured that the commission was prioritizing the 44th BCS. He announced a timeline stating that the viva voce examinations would be completed by June 17, with the final results declared by June 30. The BPSC has successfully met this deadline.

According to the 44th BCS notification, a total of 1,710 officers will be recruited across various cadres. The breakdown of vacancies is as follows:

  • Administration Cadre: 250 positions
  • Police Cadre: 50 positions
  • Foreign Affairs Cadre: 10 positions
  • Ansar Cadre: 14 positions
  • Audit and Accounts Cadre: 30 positions
  • Tax Cadre: 11 positions
  • Cooperative Cadre: 8 positions
  • Railway Transport and Commercial Cadre: 7 positions
  • Information Cadre: 10 positions
  • Postal Cadre: 23 positions
  • Commerce Cadre: 6 positions
  • Family Planning Cadre: 27 positions
  • Food Cadre: 3 positions
  • Technical Cadre: 485 positions
  • Education Cadre: 776 positions

The journey for the 44th BCS began with the initial notification on November 30, 2021, attracting nearly 350,000 applicants. From this vast pool, 15,708 candidates passed the preliminary exams. Following the written examinations, the results of which were published on April 3 of the preceding year, 11,732 candidates advanced to the viva voce stage.

The publication of the final result, which incorporates the 44th BCS Viva Result 2025, marks the final step in this rigorous selection process. Candidates who participated in the viva voce can now check their final status on the official BPSC website.
