Gazipur, Bangladesh – National University (NU) has announced an extension of the deadline for the NU Honours 4th Year Exam Form Fill-up 2025. This is welcome news for students eagerly waiting to complete this crucial step for their final year examinations. The university released a revised notification today, March 18, 2025, detailing the new schedule.
The application process for the NU Honours 4th Year Exam Form Fill-up 2025 has already commenced. Students can now submit their application forms online from March 18, 2025, to April 17, 2025. This extension provides students with additional time to complete the necessary procedures without any undue pressure.
Following the application submission, colleges will need to complete the data entry and confirmation process. The last date for colleges to finalize this stage is April 21, 2025, until 11:59 PM. It is important for colleges to adhere to this deadline to ensure all student applications are processed correctly.
The payment of examination fees will be facilitated through Sonali Sheba. Students can start making their payments from April 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The last date for fee submission through Sonali Sheba is April 24, 2025, until 4:00 PM. Students are advised to make their payments within this timeframe to avoid any complications.
In a special provision, National University has also addressed the situation of students who appeared in the 2022 Honours 4th Year Exam. Those who received an ‘F’ grade in one or more subjects can apply to retake those subjects. Additionally, they can also apply for grade improvement in up to two other subjects where they secured a ‘C’ or ‘D’ grade. This opportunity allows students to improve their overall academic results.
Furthermore, the university has clarified a specific guideline for students who had previously filled out the form for the 2023 Honours 4th Year Exam with an ‘F’ grade. If these students now wish to apply for grade improvement in subjects where they obtained a ‘C’ or ‘D’ grade, they must first cancel their previous application through their respective college principal. After cancellation, they can proceed to submit a new application.
The notification also clarified a point regarding the center fee for practical examinations. It stated that a fee of Tk 150 per course per student for practical exams will be deposited into the college fund. All other rules and regulations mentioned in the earlier notification dated February 18, 2025, will remain unchanged.
