Sylhet: Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) will conduct the third phase of its undergraduate admission for the 2024-25 academic year. This round is for filling vacant seats. The university announced this in a notice on its admission website on Wednesday, June 18.
The SUST Admission 2025 process for this phase will begin on Sunday, June 22.
On June 22, the admission for the ‘A’ Unit (Science Faculty) will be held. The process will run from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Students with a merit ranking from 2551 to 2820 in the ‘A’ Unit admission test are called to attend.
On the same day, the admission for the ‘B’ Unit (Science) will take place. This will be from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Students with a merit ranking from 401 to 495 in the ‘B’ Unit are invited for admission.
The university has issued several instructions for the aspiring students.
- Students must be present in person to select their subject and complete the admission.
- They must bring their original SSC and HSC transcripts.
- An admission fee of 14,900 Taka is required.
- Students must also bring valid proof of their blood group.
Subject allocation will be based on the merit order of the students present at the time of admission.
For students who applied to multiple units, there is a special instruction. If a student is already admitted to one unit but gets a chance in another, only their subject will be changed. They will not need to pay the admission fee again.
