Rajshahi, Bangladesh – Rajshahi University (RU) will begin interviews and admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year tomorrow, Monday, June 16. This next step is for students who passed the admission test and have been named on the merit list.
The time for applicants to choose their preferred subjects ended on May 31. This online process started on May 26. The university has stated that filling out the subject choice form was required. Students who did not complete this step will not be able to get admission.
Once a student is offered a spot in a department based on their choice, they must accept it. If they do not, they will lose their chance for admission to that unit entirely.
Details for Different Units:
- ‘A’ Unit: The final list of students selected for admission will be on the Rajshahi University website. The interviews and admission process for these students will start on June 16.
- ‘B’ Unit: Interviews for the first group of selected students will take place on June 16 and June 17. The interviews will be held from 9 am to 4 pm. Students must report to the Rabindranath Tagore Academic Building’s teachers’ lounge (room 208) at 9 am to find their interview location. The admission process for this unit must be finished by June 19. There will be no more chances for admission after this date.
- ‘C’ Unit: The first round of admissions for the ‘C’ unit is scheduled for June 16 to June 18. A second admission list is expected to be released in the afternoon on June 21. Admissions from the second list will likely happen on June 23 and June 24.
