Dhaka, Bangladesh – The result of the Fazil (Degree Pass) Examination-2023 under the Islamic Arabic University has been published. Students can now check their results through the result.iau.edu.bd 2025 Link. The results were announced today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
A total of 93 percent of students passed this year.
The pass rate for the 1st year is 90.48 percent. For the 2nd year, the pass rate is 94.74 percent. The 3rd year saw a pass rate of 96.55 percent.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam, officially announced the results. The examination controller, Mohammad Ali, handed over the results to the Vice Chancellor earlier.
In the merit list, Chharsina Darus Sunnat Kamil Madrasah from Pirojpur secured the first position in the 1st year. Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Kamil Madrasah from Chittagong district came first in both the 2nd and 3rd years.
This year, a total of 1,17,295 students participated in the examinations across the three years. Among them, 1,09,828 students were successful. The examinations started on January 14 and finished on February 27.
The Vice Chancellor thanked everyone involved for publishing the results quickly through their own management. He also congratulated the students who passed the examination.
Two Pro-Vice Chancellors of the university, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Islam and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abu Jafar Khan, were present at the result publication ceremony.
Treasurer A S M Mamunur Rahman Khalili, Dean of Kamil (Postgraduate) Education, Training and Research Center Professor Dr. Mohammad Oli Ullah, and other officials were also present. They included Dean of Curriculum Development and Evaluation Center Professor Dr. Muhammad Shazaat Ullah Faruqi, Registrar Md. Ayub Hossain, Director (Finance and Accounts) Mosabbir Mohammad Musa, and Director (Planning and Development) Professor Dr. Md. Rafiq Al Mamun. Sub-Registrar Fahad Ahmad Momtazi and teachers, officers, and employees from various departments of the university also attended.
