Dhaka, May 17, 2025 – The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) has released the Nursing Result 2025 for the 2024-2025 academic session. The results cover the admission test for BSc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, and Diploma in Midwifery. Thousands of students across Bangladesh eagerly awaited these results. They can now check their scores on the official BNMC website.
Admission Test Details
The admission test took place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at various centers nationwide. A total of 70,133 candidates participated. Among them, 24,676 applied for the BSc in Nursing course. Another 55,739 applied for the Diploma in Nursing Science and Diploma in Midwifery courses. However, 10,282 candidates were absent during the test. The test was conducted in a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. It lasted one hour and carried 100 marks. To pass, candidates needed at least 40 marks.
How Results Were Calculated
The Nursing Result 2025 is based on a total of 150 marks. The MCQ test accounts for 100 marks. The remaining 50 marks come from candidates’ SSC and HSC grades. The SSC GPA is multiplied by 5, contributing up to 25 marks. Similarly, the HSC GPA is multiplied by 5, adding another 25 marks. This system ensures that both academic performance and test scores are considered.
