Dhaka, Bangladesh – April 6, 2025: The National University (NU) has announced the dates for the Re-scrutiny Application for the 2022 Degree (Pass) and Certificate Course 3rd Year examination results. This process, also known as the “board challenge,” allows students who are unsatisfied with their results to request a review of their answer scripts.
The application period is currently open and runs from March 24, 2025, to April 16, 2025. Applications must be submitted online within this timeframe.
What is Re-scrutiny?
If students believe there might be an error in their exam results, such as incorrect totaling of marks or unmarked answers, they can apply for re-scrutiny. This process involves a re-check of the answer script to ensure accurate marking and calculation.
How to Apply
- Online Application: Students must apply online through the official National University website. The links provided in the notice are:
- Go to https://www.nu.ac.bd/, navigate to “Services,” then “Re-scrutiny.”
- Alternatively, use the direct link: http://103.113.200.36/PAMS/ICTUnit/Re-scuting.aspx
- Application Dates: The online application portal is open from March 24, 2025, until April 16, 2025. Applications submitted before or after these dates will not be accepted.
- Application Form: Fill out the online form accurately. You will need your registration number and other relevant details.
- Select Subject Codes: Carefully enter the correct subject codes for the papers you wish to have re-scrutinized. Errors in subject codes cannot be corrected later.
- Re-scrutiny Fee: The fee for re-scrutiny is 1000 Taka per paper.
- Payment Method:
- After submitting the online form, download the generated Pay Slip.
- Pay the fee within the application deadline using one of the following methods:
- In-person: At any branch of Sonali Bank using the downloaded Pay Slip.
- Online: Through Sonali Bank’s online payment gateway using:
- Mobile Banking: Nagad, bKash, Rocket.
- Cards: American Express, VISA, DBBL, Nexus, MasterCard.
- Sonali Bank Account Transfer (for account holders).
- Application Completion: The application process is only considered complete after the fee has been successfully paid.
- No Hard Copy: Typically, no physical copies of the application or payment slip need to be sent to the university, as the online submission and payment confirmation suffice.
