Dhaka, Bangladesh – The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has announced a special 18th NTRCA Viva Voce 2025 re-take examination for candidates who missed their scheduled interviews for the 18th Teachers’ Registration. This 18th NTRCA Viva Voce 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the NTRCA office in Dhaka, starting at 10:00 AM.
The decision accommodates candidates who were unable to attend their original 18th NTRCA Viva Voce 2025 and had submitted valid reasons for their absence to NTRCA. The original viva voce for the 18th Teachers’ Registration Examination 2023 began on October 27, 2024, for candidates who passed the written exam held on July 12 and 13, 2024. A total of 81,209 candidates participated in the viva voce after 83,865 passed the written exam.
Eligible candidates for the 18th NTRCA Viva Voce 2025 re-take must bring original copies of all educational certificates, mark sheets, their National Identity Card (NID) or birth registration certificate, and the admit card for the written examination. This announcement was made in a notice signed by Kazi Kamrul Ahsan, Director of NTRCA (Examination Evaluation and Certification), on Monday, March 17, 2025.
Final Result Announcement for 18th NTRCA
On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, NTRCA published the final results of the 18th Teachers’ Registration Examination 2023, with 60,521 candidates successfully passing the 18th NTRCA Viva Voce 2025 and written exams. According to a notice signed by NTRCA Chairman Mohammad Mofizur Rahman, candidates can access their results using their registration exam roll and batch number on the NTRCA websites: http://ntrca.gov.bd and http://ntrca.teletalk.com.bd. Candidates have been notified via SMS, and the results were officially released on June 4, 2025, in the afternoon.
18th NTRCA Examination
The 18th Teachers’ Registration process began with a notification on November 2, 2023, attracting a record 1.9 million applicants. The preliminary exam was held on March 15, 2024, followed by the written exam on July 12 and 13, 2024. The written exam results, published on October 14, 2024, saw 83,865 candidates pass, achieving a pass rate of 24%. This included 29,516 candidates in the School-2 category, 221,652 in the School category, and 228,813 in the College category. The 18th NTRCA Viva Voce 2025 process culminated in the final selection of 60,521 candidates, marking a significant milestone in the teacher registration process.
