Dhaka, October 15, 2025 – The Islamic Arabic University (IAU) is set to publish the results for its one-year Kamil (Master’s) examination of 2023 tomorrow, Monday. In a remarkable move to combat session backlogs, the university is announcing the results in a record time of just 20 days after the exams concluded.
Controller of Examinations of the Islamic Arabic University, Mohammad Ali, confirmed the development to The Bangladesh Affairs today. “The Kamil Master’s results will be released tomorrow. We are publishing the results in just 20 days, a process that previously took three months. We have managed to shorten this period significantly,” he stated.
When asked how this swift turnaround was achieved, Ali explained the intensive process implemented by the university. “We maintained one-on-one communication with the examiners, delivering and collecting the answer scripts by hand. We monitored the progress daily and were in constant contact to ensure no one held onto the scripts for even a single extra day.”
He further added, “The Vice-Chancellor gave a clear directive to eliminate all session jams and not to waste a moment of the students’ lives. To achieve this, we worked day and night, even on weekends. This dedicated effort is what made this possible.”
The one-year Kamil (Master’s) examinations for 2023, affiliated with the Islamic Arabic University, commenced on Sunday, August 24, and concluded on September 14. The exams were held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily across 49 centers nationwide.
This year’s examinations covered five subjects for the one-year Master’s program: Al-Quran and Islamic Studies, Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies, Dawah and Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, and Islamic History and Culture. Students awaiting their Kamil Result 2025 can expect to find it on the university’s official website following the announcement.
