Dhaka, August 21, 2025: The results for the Kamil (Postgraduate) first and second-year examinations of 2025, under the Islamic Arabic University (IAU), have been officially published. A total of 38,751 students have passed across both years, marking a combined pass rate of 92.61%.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Alam, formally announced the Kamil Result 2025 at his office on Thursday afternoon.
According to the published statistics, in the Kamil first year, 18,786 out of 21,390 candidates passed, resulting in a pass rate of 87.83%. In this year, 2,202 students failed, the results of 392 candidates have been withheld, and 10 students were expelled for using unfair means in the examination hall.
On the other hand, the pass rate for the Kamil second year was significantly higher at 97.61%. A total of 19,965 students passed out of 20,453 examinees. In the second year, 463 students failed, the results of 25 were withheld, and 6 students were expelled for academic misconduct during the exams.
Expressing his satisfaction with the results, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Alam congratulated the successful students. “This satisfactory result has been made possible through the hard work of the students and the sincere efforts of the teachers,” he stated. He added, “The Islamic Arabic University is continuously working towards quality assurance and the improvement of educational standards.”
