Dhaka, Bangladesh. The admission test for the ‘A’ Unit at Jagannath University (JnU) for the 2024-2025 academic year will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The test is for the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Life and Earth Science. High competition is expected for each seat in this unit.
A large number of students are expected to participate in the admission test for the ‘A’ Unit. This unit is for students who want to study science-related subjects at Jagannath University.
The admission test for the ‘A’ Unit will be conducted in different shifts throughout the day. This is to manage the large number of students taking the exam.
This year, Jagannath University will follow its own rules for the admission test. The test will have a total of 100 marks. 72 marks will be for the admission test itself, which includes both written and multiple-choice questions. The multiple-choice part will have 24 marks, and the written part will have 48 marks. The remaining 28 marks will be based on the students’ grades in their SSC and HSC exams. Specifically, 12 marks will be from SSC and 16 marks from HSC results.
To be eligible for the ‘A’ Unit (Science) programs, students need to have a total GPA of at least 8.00 in their SSC and HSC exams. They also need to have a minimum GPA of 3.50 separately in both SSC and HSC exams.
The admission process for Jagannath University in 2024-2025 has started with the admission circular already released. The admission tests for all five units (A, B, C, D, E) started on January 31, 2025, and will continue until February 28, 2025. It is important to remember that students applying for the second time are not allowed to apply this year.
