IAU Fazil Result 2025 Published: 93% Pass

Dhaka, Bangladesh – May 13, 2025 – The Islamic Arabic University (IAU) has published the results for its Fazil (Graduate) Pass Examination-2023 today. An impressive 93 percent of students have passed the exams this year.

The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam, officially announced the IAU Fazil results on Tuesday, May 13th. The announcement ceremony took place at the university campus. Before the formal declaration, Controller of Examinations Mohammad Ali handed over the result sheets to the Vice-Chancellor.

Several high-ranking university officials attended the event. This included Pro-Vice-Chancellors Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Islam and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abu Zafar Khan. Treasurer A S M Mamunur Rahman Khalili and deans of various faculties were also present. Registrar Md. Ayub Hossain and other directors, teachers, and staff members also joined the ceremony.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam thanked everyone involved for publishing the results quickly using the university’s own resources. He also congratulated all the students who passed the examination.

Top Performing Madrasas

The Vice-Chancellor extended special congratulations to madrasas that achieved top positions. Charsina Darus Sunnat Kamil Madrasa from Pirojpur district secured the first position in the Fazil 1st year merit list. Jameya Ahmadiyya Sunnia Kamil Madrasa in Chattogram district earned the top spot for both the 2nd and 3rd year examinations.

Exam Statistics

This year, a total of 117,295 students participated in the Fazil examinations across the three years. Out of these, 109,828 students successfully passed.

The pass rates for individual years are:

  • 1st Year: 90.48%
  • 2nd Year: 94.74%
  • 3rd Year: 96.55%

The Fazil (Graduate) Pass Examination-2023 was held earlier this year. The exams started on January 14, 2025, and concluded on February 27, 2025.

Results are typically available from 2:00 PM on the announcement day. Students who wish to apply for a re-scrutiny of their results can usually do so within a specified period, often starting the day after the results are published.
