Dhaka, Bangladesh – June 15, 2025 – The Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has issued a “very urgent” notice regarding the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations. The notice gives important instructions to the center secretaries about the HSC Exam Question Paper 2025.
The directive was issued today, Sunday, June 15. It was in a memo signed by Professor S. M. Kamal Uddin Hayder. He is the Controller of Examinations for the Dhaka Board.
According to the memo, all center secretaries must carefully check the question papers they receive. The question papers for the 2025 HSC exams are sent from the BG Press. Center secretaries need to make sure the number of question paper sets they receive is correct. They must compare it with the official statement provided.
If a center finds they have more or fewer question paper sets than required, they must act quickly. They need to inform the board by email. The deadline for this is June 19. The board has called this instruction “very urgent” and asked for immediate action.
Another recent notice from the board provided more details. It said that center secretaries must collect the question papers from the treasury office three days before each exam. These papers must be sorted into sets and kept in secure envelopes.
On the morning of each examination, an SMS will be sent to the center secretary. This message will tell them which set of questions to use for that day’s exam. Only then can the envelope for that specific set be opened.
The board has strictly ordered that unused sets of question papers must not be opened under any circumstances. These sealed envelopes must be returned to the education board in their original, intact condition.
To ensure security, a tag officer from the local police station and other police personnel must be present. Their presence is required when collecting question papers and during the entire process. These measures are in place to ensure a fair and smooth examination process. The HSC examinations are scheduled to begin later this month.
