Dhaka University (DU) has started the subject choice process for its Home Economics unit. This is for the 2024-2025 academic year. The results of the admission test were published on May 10th. The test was held on May 3rd.
Students who passed the admission test can now fill their subject choice forms. This process began on Monday, May 12th. It will continue until May 25th. This information was in a notice signed by Professor Dr. Md. Enamul Haque. He is the coordinator for the Home Economics unit admission for 2024-2025. He is also the Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences at Dhaka University.
How to Check Results and Fill Choice Form
Students can check their admission test results online. The website is collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd.
Results can also be received via SMS. From any mobile operator, type du>goc>roll and send it to 16321. A return SMS will show the result.
All candidates who passed the admission test must fill the subject choice form. This must be done on the website by May 25th. Students should fill the form very carefully. The choices cannot be changed later.
Further updates about the admission process will be on the faculty notice board. Information will also be on the website. Candidates must check these sources regularly for any new information.
For Quota Candidates
Candidates who want to apply under different quotas need a specific form. They can collect this form from the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Biological Sciences. This collection period is from May 18th to May 22nd.
Forms must be filled and submitted to the Dean’s office during office hours within this period. When collecting a quota form, candidates must bring the online filled subject choice form.
Answer Script Review
If any candidate wants to have their answer script reviewed, they can apply. There is a fee of 1,000 Taka for this. This fee must be deposited to Agrani Bank, Dhaka University branch. The deposit should be made to the current account titled ‘Home Economics Unit’.
Candidates need to submit the deposit slip and a photocopy of their admission test admit card. They must apply using a specific form. The application should be addressed to the ‘Dean, Faculty of Biological Sciences and Coordinator, Home Economics Unit Admission 2024-2025, Dhaka University’. This application must be submitted by May 15th during office hours.
If a candidate’s marks or result changes after the review, the review fee will be refunded. The merit list will also be corrected if needed. The results of such reviews will be available around May 18th. This information can be collected from the Faculty of Biological Sciences office.
