Dhaka, Bangladesh – The results for the ‘A’ unit admission test of the General, Science, and Technology (GST) group of 19 universities for the 2024-2025 academic year are being prepared. The final result may be published by the evening of Tuesday, May 13th.
This information was confirmed by Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim Akhand. He is the Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Bhasani Science and Technology University. He is also the convener of the GST admission committee.
Professor Akhand stated, “The work of preparing the results is underway.” He noted that approximately 1 lakh 20 thousand students participated in this examination. “All exam-related activities were completed, and the papers reached us by yesterday (May 10th) morning. Since then, we have started processing the results, which is still ongoing,” he added.
He further explained, “Work will continue throughout today and tonight. Tomorrow, we will try to start the scrutiny (re-checking) process. We expect this work might continue until the 12th. If everything goes well, we will be able to publish the results on the 13th.” However, he also mentioned a slight possibility of a one-day delay if the work cannot be completed in time. “We will try to publish the results by the 13th or 14th, Insha’Allah,” Professor Akhand affirmed. The GST ‘A’ unit admission test was held last Friday. The exams took place simultaneously across 21 centers nationwide. The tests were conducted in two shifts, from 11 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 4 PM.
The application process for this year’s GST admissions began on March 5th. It continued until midnight on March 17th. During this period, a total of 2 lakh 37 thousand 840 aspirants applied. Among them, 1 lakh 42 thousand 714 students applied for the ‘A’ unit (Science). For the ‘B’ unit (Humanities), 72 thousand 62 students applied. The ‘C’ unit (Commerce) had 23 thousand 64 applicants.
It is important to note that the results for the ‘C’ unit and ‘B’ unit have already been published. Students are now eagerly awaiting the GST A Unit Result 2025.
