Govt school admission result 2025 today

The lottery results for student admissions to Class one to nine in all government schools and private schools in metropolitan and district headquarters will be published today, 17 December 2024, at noon.

Students will be informed of the results via SMS to the mobile phone number used for the application. Results will also be available on the admission website (gsa.teletalk.com.bd).

The lottery for admission to government and private schools will be held this morning at the International Mother Language Institute. Mohammad Aziz Uddin, Deputy Director of the Secondary Wing of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and Member Secretary of the Dhaka Metropolitan Admissions Committee, said, “The admission lottery will start in the morning. The digital process of the admission lottery will start around 10:30 to 11:00. Usually, it takes two to two and a half hours to complete the process. Accordingly, students will get the results around 2:00 to 2:30 in the afternoon.”

Parents can download and print the lottery results by logging into the admissions website (https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd/) using their login ID and password. School headmasters can also download and print the lottery results for their respective schools by logging into the website.

This year, 9 lakh 83 thousand 539 students across the country have applied for admission to classes one to nine. Online applications were accepted from November 12 to November 30. 6 lakh 35 thousand 72 students applied for admission to 680 government schools and 3 lakh 48 thousand 467 students applied to 4 thousand 945 private schools.

There are a total of 11 lakh 16 thousand 389 vacant seats in 5 thousand 625 government and private schools this year. Based on the number of seats, many seats will remain vacant in private schools even after the admission process.
