National University (NU) has released the results for the 2023 Degree Pass and Certificate Course 1st Year examinations. The results were published today, May 20, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Students can check their NU Degree 1st Year Result 2025 online.
A total of 2,67,913 students participated in the exams. These students were from 1,918 colleges across the country. The examinations were held at 679 centers nationwide. This includes regular, irregular, and performance improvement candidates.
The overall pass rate for this year is 88.80%.
Here’s a breakdown of the results by group:
- BA: 66,835 candidates participated, with 60,549 passing. The pass rate is 90.59%.
- B.S.S: 68,965 candidates participated, with 62,653 passing. The pass rate is 90.84%.
- B.Com/B.B.S: 25,628 candidates participated, with 21,468 passing. The pass rate is 83.76%.
- B.Sc: 6,153 candidates participated, with 4,145 passing. The pass rate is 67.36%.
- B. Music: All 15 participating candidates passed, resulting in a 100% pass rate.
- B. Sports: All 7 participating candidates passed, resulting in a 100% pass rate.
- Certificate Course: All 51 participating candidates passed, resulting in a 100% pass rate.
- Performance Improvement: 100,259 candidates participated, with 74,022 passing. The pass rate is 73.83%.
In total, 222,910 students passed the examination.
Students can access their NU Degree 1st Year Result 2025 on the official National University websites. The results are available at result.nu.ac.bd or www.nu.ac.bd/results. These websites started showing results from 7:00 PM today.
