BOU SSC Routine 2025 Released by Bangladesh Open University

The Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has published the schedule for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations of 2025. The exam routine is now available on the BOU website. Exams will start across the country from April 11, 2025 (Friday).

The examinations will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second shift will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The first exam on April 11 will be Bengali 1st Paper. The written exams will conclude on May 9, 2025. On the last day, the morning shift will cover subjects like History of Bangladesh and World Civilization, Accounting, and Physics (Theory). In the afternoon shift on May 9, exams for Finance and Banking, Biology (Theory), and Civics and Citizenship will be conducted.

Important Instructions for the Exam Candidates

BOU has also issued special instructions for the students appearing in the SSC exam. These instructions must be followed by all candidates:

  • ID Card is Mandatory: Students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without their official ID card.
  • Registered Subjects Only: Students can only participate in the exams for their registered subjects. Taking exams for subjects not registered is strictly prohibited.
  • Follow Question Paper Time: Exams must be attended according to the time mentioned in the question paper.
  • MCQ and Theory Exams: The exam will begin with the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) section, followed by the Creative/Essay (Theoretical) section. There will be no break between these two parts of the exam.
  • Answer Sheet Instructions: On the litho-coded answer sheet, students must accurately write their Program Code (10), ID number, and Subject Code in English and fill in the corresponding circles. Folding of the answer sheet is not allowed under any circumstances.
  • Calculator Allowed: Students can use a non-programmable scientific calculator in the exam.
  • Separate Pass Marks: Students need to achieve separate pass marks in the Creative/Essay (Theoretical), MCQ, and Practical sections of the exam.
  • Mobile Phone Restriction: No one except the Center Secretary is allowed to bring or use mobile phones inside the exam center.
  • Practical Exams: Practical exams will be held within 7 days after the completion of the theory exams.
  • Practical Exam Venue: Practical exams will be conducted at the students’ respective exam centers or venues.
  • Last Chance for 2019 Batch: For students of the 2019 batch, the SSC exam in 2025 is the last opportunity to appear.
  • Chance for De-Novo Registration Batches: For De-Novo registered students of the 2018 batch, this is the 1st chance. For the 2017 batch, it is the 2nd chance, and for the 2015 batch, it is the final chance to participate in the SSC exam in 2025.
  • Schedule Change Authority: The BOU authority reserves the right to change or modify the exam schedule if necessary.

Students are advised to visit the official BOU website to download the detailed exam routine and stay updated for any further announcements. Candidates are also urged to prepare well and adhere to all the instructions provided by the university for a smooth examination process.
