The Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has released the results for its Open School SSC (Secondary School Certificate) program admission test. The results were published on May 19.
A total of 3,917 applicants passed the admission test. There were 5,010 applicants in total.
The admission test was held on April 26. This test was for applicants who do not have a JSC, JDC, Class Eight, or equivalent certificate.
The regional center-based results were announced on Monday, May 19.
Professor Dr. Md. Amirul Islam, the head of the admission committee, officially handed over the results. He gave them to Professor Dr. A B M Obaidul Islam, the Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University.
Also present were Professor Dr. Abul Hasnat Moha. Shamin, the university’s Treasurer. Professor Dr. Shirin Sultana, Dean of Open School, and members of the admission committee were also there.
Admission Process Begins
Admission for those who passed the exam will take place from May 20 to June 2.
New Application Dates for Certificate Holders
Students who have a JSC, JDC, Class Eight, or recognized equivalent certificate can also apply. Their application period has been rescheduled. They can now apply from May 20 to June 2.
