Dhaka, Bangladesh – The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced a roadmap for publishing the results of five Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations. This move aims to clear the backlog and reduce delays in the recruitment process. Job seekers eagerly awaiting their BCS Result 2025 can now look to specific timelines.
The announcement came through a press release from PSC Public Relations Officer S M Matiur Rahman on Tuesday, June 3.
According to the roadmap, the final BCS Result 2025 for the 44th BCS will be published by June 30.
For candidates of the 45th BCS, the written examination results are scheduled to be released on June 19. The viva voce (oral examination) schedule will be announced at the same time. The final result for the 45th BCS is expected on December 10.
The PSC has made special arrangements for candidates whose exam dates might overlap. If a candidate’s 45th BCS viva voce clashes with the 46th BCS written exam or the 47th BCS preliminary exam, their viva will be scheduled one month before or after the conflicting exam.
Significant focus is being given to the 48th BCS (Special), primarily for recruiting doctors to address shortages in the health sector. The government published the gazette for this special BCS on May 27, 2025. The circular was issued shortly after, on May 29. The MCQ-type written test for the 48th BCS (Special) is set for July 18, with its results to be published on July 21. The final result for this special BCS is targeted for September 22.
Looking ahead, the preliminary test for the 47th BCS will take place on September 19. The written examinations for the 47th BCS are scheduled to begin on November 27.
The PSC also outlined a general timeline for regular BCS exams. Preliminary tests will usually be held two months after publishing the circular. Written exams will be conducted two months after the preliminary results are out.
The Commission acknowledged that these schedules might see slight changes due to unavoidable circumstances. However, it assured that every effort would be made to adhere to the announced dates for the BCS Result 2025 and other processes.
