DHAKA, April 6, 2025 – The Bangladesh Bar Council has officially announced the date for its next MCQ test. This test is the first step for lawyer enrollment.
The Bar Council MCQ Test 2025 will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025. The examination will be held for one hour. It will start at 3:00 PM and end at 4:00 PM.
Barrister Ruhul Kuddus Kajol shared this information on Sunday, April 6. Barrister Kajol is a senior lawyer. He is also the Chairman of the Bar Council Executive Committee. He confirmed the date and time through official channels and his verified social media.
A total of 40,627 candidates are expected to sit for this important exam. Barrister Kajol stated that all necessary preparations for the test are complete. The exam centers will be located in Dhaka, the capital city.
Becoming a lawyer in Bangladesh involves a three-step process managed by the Bar Council.
- First, candidates must pass the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test.
- Second, they need to pass a Written examination.
- Third, they must clear a Viva Voce (oral interview).
Only after successfully passing all three stages can a law graduate be enrolled as an advocate. This allows them to practice law in the courts of Bangladesh.
