Dhaka, Bangladesh – The results for the highly anticipated Assistant Upazila Education Officer (ATEO) recruitment examination will be published today, Sunday, September 21, 2025. A highly placed source within the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) confirmed to The Daily Campus that the results are expected to be released on their official website by 8:00 PM tonight.
The announcement brings an end to a long and anxious wait for nearly one hundred thousand candidates who vied for 159 coveted Grade-10 positions under the Department of Primary Education.
“The results for the ATEO recruitment exam are ready. They will be published on the website at any moment,” a top PSC official stated on the condition of anonymity on Sunday.
The competitive examination was held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM across 51 designated centers in Dhaka metropolitan area. The one-hour test was a crucial step in a protracted recruitment process that saw multiple delays.
The journey for the aspirants began when the initial job circular was published for the Assistant Upazila/Thana Education Officer posts. The application period originally started on June 26, 2023, and was scheduled to close on July 31 of the same year. However, the application process was abruptly suspended just a day before the deadline on July 30, 2023.
Following a lengthy pause, a revised circular was issued in 2024, reopening the application window from July 1 to July 25. The deadline was subsequently extended twice, first to August 8 and then finally to August 22, to accommodate the high volume of interested candidates. The application fee for the examination was BDT 500.
Candidates who participated in the examination are advised to keep a close watch on the official website of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) for the official publication (bpsc.gov.bd) of the ATEO Result 2025. The results will determine who moves forward in the selection process for these key roles in the nation’s primary education administration.
