Dhaka, Bangladesh: The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board (BMEB) has released the schedule for the upcoming Alim examinations. The Alim Routine 2025 was published on Tuesday.
According to the routine, the exams will start on Thursday, June 26, 2025. The first subject will be Quran Majid. The exams will finish on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The last exam will be Higher Mathematics Second Paper.
The board announced that the 2025 Alim exams will use the syllabus revised by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). Exams will be held for the full duration and full marks.
Exam Timings and Structure
- Exams will generally start at 10:00 AM.
- For subjects with 30 marks in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), the MCQ part will last 30 minutes. The Creative Questions (CQ) part will last 2 hours and 30 minutes for 70 marks.
- For subjects that include practical exams, the MCQ part (25 marks) will be 25 minutes long. The CQ part (50 marks) will be 2 hours and 35 minutes long.
- The MCQ exam will be held first, followed immediately by the CQ exam. There will be no break in between.
Key Instructions for Students
- Students must be in their exam seats 30 minutes before the exam starts (by 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM start).
- Answer sheets and OMR forms (for MCQ) will be distributed at 9:30 AM.
- MCQ question papers will be given out at 10:00 AM.
- MCQ answer sheets (OMR) will be collected at 10:30 AM (for 30-mark MCQs) or 10:25 AM (for 25-mark MCQs). CQ question papers will be distributed at the same time.
- Students must find out their exact exam date, time, and venue from their center’s Principal or Officer-in-Charge.
Practical Exams
- Practical exams are scheduled to be held between August 13 and August 21, 2025.
- Centers must submit practical exam marks online to the Madrasah Board by August 24, 2025. Officials will need to submit related documents by hand to the Alim section.
