Dhaka, Bangladesh – April 16, 2025: The process for choosing universities and subjects has started for students who passed the admission test for Bangladesh’s nine agricultural cluster universities.
This important step is for the 2024-25 academic year’s first-year students. The application window opened today, Wednesday, April 16th. It will close next Tuesday, April 22nd.
Students who are on the merit list or the waiting list must complete this process. They need to select their preferred universities and subjects online.
How to Choose
- Visit the official agricultural cluster admission website: https://acas.edu.bd.
- Sign in using your credentials.
- Go to your dashboard.
- Find the “Preference” or “Choice” option.
- Select the universities and subjects you want, in order of preference.
Important Deadline
Students must submit their choices by April 22nd. If a student does not submit their choices by this date, they will not be considered for subject allocation. It is crucial to complete this step on time.
Admission Test Background
A large number of students showed interest in agricultural studies this year.
- Total Applicants: 94,020 students applied.
- Test Takers: 80,890 students sat for the admission test.
- Attendance Rate: About 86% of applicants took the test.
- Exam Centers: The test was held across 9 main centers and 13 sub-centers, including Bangladesh Agricultural University.
- Results Published: The results were announced on April 15th.
- Passed Students: 3,863 students successfully passed and are on the merit list.

- Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur: 435 seats
- Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka: 705 seats
- Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Chattogram: 275 seats
- Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU Sylhet): 580 seats
- Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), Khulna: 150 seats
- Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Patuakhali: 423 seats
- Habiganj Agricultural University (HAU), Habiganj: 99 seats
- Kurigram Agricultural University (KuAU), Kurigram: 80 seats
