SSC Routine 2026 Published: Exams Begin April 21

The schedule for the SSC examinations in 2026 has been officially published. The exams will commence on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, starting with Bangla (Compulsory) 1st Paper. The theoretical examinations are scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with Biology and Economics. Following the written exams, the SSC Practical exams will be held from Sunday, June 7, 2026, to Sunday, June 14, 2026.

This routine applies to all education boards in Bangladesh (Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh). The Dhaka Education Board published this time schedule on its website on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Exam hours are fixed from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Important Information for Students

• Exam Start Date: April 21, 2026 (Tuesday).
• Theoretical Exams End: May 20, 2026 (Wednesday).
• Practical Exams: June 7, 2026, to June 14, 2026.
• Admit Cards: Collect your admit cards from your school at least three days before the exams start.
• OMR Instructions: Fill in your roll number, registration number, and subject codes correctly on the OMR sheet. Do not fold your answer sheets.
• Passing Rules: You must pass the Creative/Essay (Theoretical), MCQ, and Practical parts separately.
• Continuous Assessment: Marks for Physical Education, Health Science, Sports, and Career Education will be based on continuous assessment by your institution and sent to the board.
• Calculators: You can use a general scientific calculator authorized by the education board.
• Prohibited Items: Do not bring any electronic devices like smartwatches or smartphones to the exam hall. Only the center secretary is permitted to use a mobile phone.
• Re-evaluation: You can apply for re-evaluation of your results online within seven days after the results are published.

Exam Day Reminders:
