The application time for the BOU SSC Admission 2025-2026 has been extended. Now, students can apply for admission until April 5, 2025.
BOU is offering admission in three branches: Humanities, Business Studies, and Science. This is for the SSC program run by the Open School of BOU.
Who can apply?
To apply, you need to meet certain qualifications.
First, you must have passed the JSC, JDC, Class Eight, or any equivalent exam recognized by the government.
Second, even if you do not have these certificates, you can still apply. In this case, your age must be at least 14 years as of December 31, 2024.
Third, all applicants need to pass an admission test. BOU will conduct this test to check your eligibility. You will need to pay an initial application fee of Tk 300.
The details about the admission test will be available soon. This includes the subjects, marks distribution, date, and exam centers. You can find this information on the BOU website. You can also check the regional and sub-regional centers and study centers of BOU.
What documents do you need?
When you apply, you will need to submit some documents.
You will need two copies of your passport-size photographs. You also need a photocopy of your JSC, JDC, Class Eight, or equivalent pass certificate. This photocopy must be attested.
You will also need a photocopy of your National Identity Card (NID) or online birth registration certificate. This copy also needs to be attested.
The total fees for admission and other charges are Tk 4,695.
Important Information to Note
If you passed Class Eight or an equivalent exam, make sure the name of the student, parents’ names, and date of birth on the certificate match your NID or online birth registration.
If you passed JSC or JDC, your information should match your JSC/JDC certificate. If you do not have this certificate, then your NID or online birth registration certificate will be considered.
For those who passed Class Eight or an equivalent exam before 2009, your birth date must be on or after December 31, 1997.
Remember, the last date to apply for admission is April 5, 2025.
