The new last date to apply online is March 20, 2025. The previous deadline was February 28. This extension gives students extra time to complete their application.

How to Apply?
Applying for NU Honours admission is easy and completely online. Just follow these steps:
- Go to the National University Admission website: www.nu.ac.bd/admissions
- Find the “Honours Admission” section.
- Click on “Honours Admission Application Form”.
- Fill in the online application form carefully with all correct information.
- Upload your photo as instructed.
- Download your Application Form.
Application Fee
You need to pay a primary application fee of 700 Taka. You can pay this fee through mobile banking or directly to the college. The college will tell you the exact payment method. Make sure to pay the fee by March 22, 2025.
About the Admission Test
- There will be an admission test of 100 marks.
- The test will be MCQ type (multiple-choice questions).
- You will have 1 hour to answer 100 questions.
- The test will be different for students from Science, Humanities, and Business Studies backgrounds.
Merit List and Subject Choice
Your merit list will be prepared based on a total of 200 marks. This includes:
- 100 marks from your admission test.
- 40% marks from your SSC GPA.
- 60% marks from your HSC GPA.
Colleges will make separate merit lists for each subject. Subjects will be given to students based on their merit and choice.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for Honours at National University, you must have passed:
- SSC or equivalent exam: in 2021 or 2022
- HSC or equivalent exam: in 2023 or 2024
