The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has announced the results for the first-year Bachelor (Honors) admission tests for the 2024-2025 academic year. The results were published today, March 9, 2025. The admission tests were held on Friday, February 28, 2025.
SUST admission Result 2025 was Released today, March 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM. Candidates have already been informed of their results via SMS to their registered mobile numbers. The results are also available on the official SUST admission website: admission.sust.edu.bd.
This year, SUST conducted the admission test using its own method after a gap of four years. A total of 86,380 students applied for the admission tests for 1,671 available seats, indicating a competition of 51 students per seat. The admission test was conducted for two units, Unit ‘B’ and Unit ‘A’, across five divisional cities in Bangladesh.
The ‘B’ Unit examination, catering to students from Science, Humanities, and Business Studies backgrounds, was held in the morning. The ‘A’ Unit examination, primarily for Science department students, took place in the afternoon of the same day.
The admission committee has announced the availability of 1,671 seats, along with 105 quota seats. Unit A-1 (Science) received 57,273 applications for 955 seats, while Unit A-2 (Science and Architecture) had 1,250 applications for 30 seats. In Unit ‘B’ (Science, Humanities, Commerce), 29,107 students applied for 581 seats. The quota seats are distributed as follows: 28 for freedom fighters, 28 for ethnic minorities/tribes/Harijan-Dalits, 14 for the disabled, 20 for dependent quota, 5 for tea workers, and 10 for BKSP (sports) quota.
