Dhaka, August 23, 2025: The first-ever admission test for the proposed Dhaka Central University has successfully concluded with the examination for the business unit. The exam was held on Saturday, August 23rd, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The university administration has announced that the results will be published online within the next three days.
The answer scripts from the landmark admission test are being evaluated by a technical team from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) to ensure accuracy and transparency. Once published, students will be able to access their results through the official online portal.
Professor AKM Elias, the administrator of Dhaka Central University and Principal of Dhaka College, stated, “This first-ever admission test was completed in a very smooth and orderly manner. Students will be able to check their results online within the next three days.”
The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman, Professor Foyez Uddin, also commented on the overall process. “The admission test for the proposed Central University was held in a very fair and peaceful environment. We hope this university will become a model institution in the future. The work on finalizing its ordinance will be completed soon,” he said.
It is noteworthy that the admission test was held simultaneously across the seven constituent colleges that will form the new university: Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Titumir College, Government Bangla College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Girls’ College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, and Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College.
