45th BCS Written Result 2025 Announced: 6,558 Candidates Pass

Dhaka, June 18, 2025 – The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the 45th BCS Written Result 2025. A total of 6,558 candidates have passed the written examination. The BPSC announced this in a notice on Wednesday.

Written Exam Details

The 45th BCS written exams took place from January 23 to January 31, 2024. Candidates who passed the preliminary exam were eligible to sit for these tests. The written phase is a crucial step in the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) recruitment process.

Preliminary Exam Recap

The BPSC released the 45th BCS circular on November 30, 2022. The preliminary exam results came out on June 6, 2023. Out of 346,000 applicants, 268,119 candidates appeared for the preliminary test. A total of 12,789 candidates passed, with an attendance rate of 77.24%. Around 78,803 candidates did not attend the exam.

Recruitment Goals

The 45th BCS aims to recruit 2,309 cadre officers and 1,022 non-cadre officers. The health sector will see the highest recruitment, with 539 posts for assistant and dental surgeons. The education cadre follows with 437 posts. Other key sectors include administration (274 posts), police (80 posts), and customs (54 posts).

How to Check Results

Successful candidates will now prepare for the viva voce, the final phase of the BCS selection process. The BPSC will announce the viva schedule soon. Candidates can check the results on the BPSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd). Results are also available via SMS by typing PSC 45 Registration Number and sending it to 16222 from a Teletalk number.
