JNU D Unit Result 2025 Published Today

Dhaka, Bangladesh – Students who appeared for the Jagannath University (JNU) D Unit admission test can now check their results, which have been published today, March 23, 2025. The admission test for the D Unit, which is for the Faculty of Social Sciences, was held on February 14, 2025.

A large number of students participated in the exam. A total of 24,956 applicants applied for the D Unit, where there are 590 seats available. This signifies a competitive environment, with approximately 42 students competing for each seat.

The Jagannath University Admission Result 2025 for all units will be published online. Students will be able to check their D Unit results on the official JNU admission website.

Confirmation of Result Publication

The publication of the results was confirmed by Professor Sanjida Farhana, the convener of the Jagannath University Admission Unit Committee and a professor in the Department of Anthropology.

Rumors and Clarification

Prior to the official announcement, rumors of result publication circulated on various Facebook pages starting from Saturday evening (March 22nd), causing confusion among the admission seekers.

Professor Sanjida clarified that the unit committee conveners would present the results to the Vice-Chancellor on Sunday, and after the completion of the necessary procedures, the results would be published on Sunday. She also mentioned the possibility of informing students about their results via SMS.

How to Check JNU D Unit Result 2025 Online

To check the result online, students need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the official website of Jagannath University Admission: https://admission.jnu.ac.bd.
  2. Find the “Admission Result” link or the “Applicants Login” option on the website.
  3. Click on the link and enter the required information. Students will need to input their HSC and SSC roll numbers.
  4. They will also need to type their mobile number and the password used during the application process.
  5. After entering the details, students can submit the information and view their D Unit admission test results.

The online result will display detailed information, including subject-wise marks, the number of correct and wrong answers, and the overall score.

Minimum Passing Score

To be considered for admission, students must score at least 40% marks in the admission test. The marking system includes negative marks for incorrect answers in the MCQ part of the exam. For each wrong MCQ answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.
