The results of the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) Fazil (Degree Pass) Examination-2023 have been published. The results were announced on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
The overall pass rate is 93 percent.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam, officially declared the results at noon.
According to the university, the pass rate for the 1st year is 90.48 percent. The pass rate for the 2nd year is 94.74 percent. For the 3rd year, the pass rate is 96.55 percent.
Before the official announcement, the Controller of Examinations, Mohammad Ali, handed over the summary of the results to the Vice-Chancellor.
In the merit list, Chharsina Darus Sunnat Kamil Madrasa from Pirojpur secured the first position in the 1st year. Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Kamil Madrasa from Chittagong district secured the first position in the 2nd and 3rd years.
University sources said that a total of 117,295 students participated in the Fazil examination across the three years last year. Out of these, 109,828 students passed. The examination started on January 14 and finished on February 27.
After the iau results were published, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam thanked everyone involved for publishing the results quickly through their own management. He also congratulated all the successful students.
