Dhaka, Bangladesh – Students wishing to appear for the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations privately have a new opportunity to register. Regular students can also complete their form fill-up during this period. The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board announced this extension. Interested candidates can register and fill out forms from May 12 to May 15, 2025.
This information was released in a notice from the Dhaka Education Board on Thursday, May 8.
Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, the board’s Controller of Examinations, confirmed the news. He stated, “This opportunity has been provided for those who could not register privately earlier. Regular students who wish to take the exam can also fill out their forms.”
Previously, the online registration period for private HSC candidates was from January 12 to January 30. Regular students had a chance to fill out their forms with a late fee most recently from April 13 to April 21.
The board also released a list of selected colleges where private candidates can sit for their examinations. These colleges are:
- Kabi Nazrul Government College, Dhaka
- Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Dhaka
- Vasantek Government College, Dhaka
- Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College, Dhaka
- Government Tolaram College, Narayanganj
- Government Harganga College, Munshiganj
- Government Debendra College, Manikganj
- Bhawal Badre Alam Government College, Gazipur
- Narsingdi Government College, Narsingdi
- Gurudayal Government College, Kishoreganj
- Kumudini Government College, Tangail
- Nagarpur Government College, Tangail
- Government Yasin College, Faridpur
- Shariatpur Government College, Shariatpur
- Madaripur Government College, Madaripur
- Rajbari Government College, Rajbari
- Government Bangabandhu College, Gopalganj
- Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Bangladesh Islamia School and College, Abu Dhabi
Students are advised to complete their registration and form fill-up within the newly announced dates.
