IHT MATS Admission 2025: Third Waiting List Results Published

Dhaka, Bangladesh – April 18, 2025: The results for the third waiting list of the IHT MATS Admission 2025 process (for the 2024-2025 academic year) have been released. This announcement brings hope to many students seeking admission into medical technology and assistant courses.

The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) published the list. It selects students for the Diploma in Medical Technology and Diploma in Medical Assistant Training courses. Selections were based on merit and student preferences from the admission test. Professor Dr. Md. Mohiuddin Matubbar, Director (Medical Education) at DGME, signed the official notice.

These institutes (IHTs and MATS) are important for training skilled medical technologists and assistants in Bangladesh.

Admission Timeline

Selected students from this third waiting list must complete their admission process quickly.

  • Admission Period: April 19 to April 28 (during office hours).
  • Location: At the respective government IHT (Institute of Health Technology) or MATS (Medical Assistant Training School) where the student is selected.
  • Reporting: Principals must send admission data to the relevant office by April 29.
  • Classes Begin: Classes for the 2024-2025 session are scheduled to start on April 30.

Verification Process

The principals of the IHTs and MATS will form local admission committees.

  • Certificate Check: These committees will carefully check the original academic certificates of admitted students.
  • Health Check: A medical board will conduct health examinations for the students.

Admission Cancellation Risks

Students must provide correct documents and information.

  • Admission will be cancelled if any submitted certificate has errors or discrepancies.
  • Admission will also be cancelled if a student is found medically unfit by the board.
  • If any information provided by the student is found to be false or incorrect even after admission, the admission will be cancelled.

Required Documents for Admission

Selected students must bring the following original documents and copies:

  1. Admit Card: The admit card from the IHT/MATS admission test for the 2024-25 session.
  2. SSC Transcript: Original academic transcript (mark sheet) of the SSC or equivalent examination.
  3. SSC Certificate/Testimonial: Original certificate or testimonial of passing the SSC or equivalent examination.
  4. Citizenship/Birth Certificate: Original Citizenship Certificate from the City Corporation/Municipality/Union Parishad Chairman or Ward Commissioner, OR a copy of the Birth Registration Certificate.
  5. Photographs: Five recent passport-sized color photographs. One photo must be attested, and the other four should be unattested.
  6. For Government Employees: Candidates who are already government employees need to submit copies of their appointment letter, joining letter, and a service certificate from their current workplace.

Students on the third waiting list are advised to check the results immediately and prepare the necessary documents to complete their admission within the deadline.
